Success For Jenny Karazissis and Bunistar In The 3 6 Performance Hunters The classic and pristine setting of the Menlo Charity Horse Show provided the backdrop for fierce competition on the Grass Hunter Field on the first day of the 48th Annual Menlo Charity Horse Show The two 3 6 Performance Hunter classes consisted of 81 rounds resulting in a California Split In the end it was Jenny Karazissis and Bunistar who proved to be the most consistent taking home first and second ribbons for their efforts potted plant I backed right into it and I so deserved it for being unhappy with my round and grumbling It was perfect that this happened to me embarrassing but perfect Menlo Charity Horse Show will say goodbye to Jenny early as she is heading off to the Derby Finals in Kentucky I am taking two horses to Kentucky Big Shot owned by Dulcie Lou Morris and I have another catch ride on Michelle Cobb s Really who trains with Bunistar is a catch ride and belongs to Naomi Rubin Devin Gibson It is disappointing for Jenny to leave who trains with John Charlebois said Karazissis He before the South West Regional Awards Banquet and is so much fun to ride with so much scope and pop off she is in the running for an award I know John Bragg the ground I have ridden him a few times before and is very close behind me on points so it is going to come he is just lovely to ride I am really looking forward down to the wire tomorrow so I hope I have a good to the Handy round tomorrow He is so good at it day It would be really great to win this year Karazissis was very modest when congratulated on her success There are so many great riders here being rewarded with good scores Karazissis continued to explain the reason for the catch ride Naomi Rubin owner is doing the Junior Hunters this weekend so they wanted him to get some miles in the ring prior to her classes I feel very lucky to have been asked to ride I get the best feeling on this horse he is very rideable has a great mouth he is balanced and has great scope and jumps in excellent form I can t say enough good things about this horse Jenny looks forward to Menlo every year Since the age of 12 I have only missed one year as a youngster when I was sidelined with a broken arm It is such a special event In the earlier years at Menlo many memories were made Jenny took the time to share a story that she had told to one of her clients earlier in the day One time I was not to happy with my performance and I was grumbling to my daughter However I ended up winning the class and as I was trotting in she looked at me and said See Mommy so I started walking backwards talking to her and literally sat in a Links and Information facebook com MenloCharityHorseShow instagram com menlocharityhorseshow twitter com MenloCharity MENLO2018
